Samena Squares Newsletter #24

Dear Friends,

That was lots of calls on Thursday night! You all did great! You can now say that you have at least been exposed to almost all the calls. There are three left! We will learn them next Thursday and then just dance and dance some more.

Starting on Thursday, April 4, there will be workshops, same time and same place
(flyer below). I was asked what was going to be covered in workshops. I like to start with the calls that we have learned at the end of class and work backward. We learned Circle Left and Right and Left Grand on the first night 24 weeks ago. We have hundreds and hundreds of repetitions. We learned Spin Chain Thru last week and have about a dozen repetitions. At best! I also like to cover some different starting positions that you might run into. And there are some square dance games and traditional squares that are fun to dance. We will get to those too!

Have a great week! Enjoy the sunshine!

Happy dancing,
Susan
